By downloading or using FlightLeague, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English because we think you deserve to actually understand what you're agreeing to.
FlightLeague is an iOS app for pilots and aviation enthusiasts. You can log flights, track your stats, earn badges, compete on leaderboards, and connect with other pilots.
FlightLeague is a hobby and social tool. It is not an official aviation record-keeping system and should never be used as a substitute for legally required pilot logbooks or any FAA-mandated record-keeping. By using the app, you accept these terms in full.
You can sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. You must be at least 13 years old to use FlightLeague. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.
Each person may have one account. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, so keep your login secure. If you want to delete your account, you can do so from within the app — this permanently removes all your data from our systems.
You log your own flights manually — entering details like departure airport, arrival airport, duration, and aircraft type. When logging a flight, we may use your device's location to verify you're near the arrival airport.
All flight data is self-reported. FlightLeague does not verify that flights actually occurred. Your logs are your own data and can be exported as PDF or CSV at any time.
Important: FlightLeague logs are not a replacement for an official FAA logbook or any legally required aviation records. Do not use FlightLeague for regulatory compliance.
You can photograph a handwritten logbook page and let our AI extract the flight data for you. Photos are sent to a third-party AI service (Google Gemini) for processing and are not stored by Google after the scan is complete.
AI scanning isn't perfect — it can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any extracted data before saving it. Free users get 1 scan per month; Pro users get unlimited scans.
FlightLeague lets you add friends, view flight feeds, comment on flights, and appear on leaderboards. By default, your profile — including your name, home airport, bio, flight stats, and photos — is visible to other users.
You can block other users at any time. You can also report inappropriate behaviour, and our team reviews all reports. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
You may upload profile photos and flight photos. You own your content — we don't claim any ownership over it. By uploading content, you grant FlightLeague a non-exclusive licence to display it within the app for other users to see.
You must not upload content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or that infringes on someone else's rights (for example, content you don't have permission to share). We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.
FlightLeague offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro is managed through flightleague.app — not through Apple's in-app purchase system.
Free tier includes: 5 manually-logged flights per month, 1 AI scan per month, social features, basic stats, and leaderboard access.
Pro includes: unlimited flight logging, unlimited AI scans, advanced analytics, the full quiz and ground school library, unlimited exports, and a Pro badge on your profile.
Pricing, billing terms, and cancellation details are listed on flightleague.app. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law.
The app includes aviation quiz content for learning and practice. This content is for educational purposes only and is not a replacement for official FAA training, instruction, or certification programmes.
We do our best to keep the content accurate, but we make no guarantees about its completeness or correctness. Always rely on official sources for anything safety-critical.
Flight routes are shown on a map based on the origin and destination airports you log. This is for visual display only — routes are not tracked in real time. Map data is provided by third-party services.
We may send push notifications for things like friend activity, earned badges, and milestones. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings — we won't take it personally.
We collect data including your name, email, profile info, flight logs, location (used only for flight verification), photos, and usage analytics. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
By using FlightLeague, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
FlightLeague is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep the app running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
Do not use FlightLeague for flight planning, safety decisions, or regulatory compliance. We are not liable for any damages — direct or indirect — arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know. Continuing to use FlightLeague after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
